We’re running some Windows 2000 Professional clients in a NetWare 5.1 environment. We have a generic account for all of the students to use to access network services. The problem that we’re running into is that when students don’t log out properly,Windows 2000 will freeze. It is noticeable because the “start” button will remain depressed and nothing can be accessed from it. The only way we can fix the problem is by logging in as a local administrator, delete the student profile from “Documents and Settings” and then students can log back in. Does anybody know of a better solution?
