FTP Problem

I have 4 computers (Win2K Pro OS) that access the internet via a cable router (linksys). Only one machine can properly ftp via command line (ie ftp ftp.microsoft.com). The other three always get “ftp: connect: Connection refused”. What’s the problem. Is there a configuration issue that I am missing. Thanks in advance for all help provided.
