FTP Server

I was wondering if you could help me, I have a duron 950 with XP pro and I wish to setup a FTP type server for a LAN event where users can view the folders but cannot copy but only look until they log on , I know how windows makesyou log onto the computer who created the folder when you try to access a folder on a network but I don?t know if its possible to let user view but disable copy abilities till they logon. If it is possible could please explain how to do it and if you recommend any types of software please list them too, any useful urls would also be handy.
