I have a pc with a pci Radeon 7500 installed. I know that some games just won’t work with certain video cards. My problem is this…With 2k installed, some games actually work fine, with xp I get funky neon colors for video (and vice versa with other games – work on xp but not 2k). I’ve tried different drivers, tried compatibility mode. I realize that this is a video rendering compatibility problem. This only happens with a very small % of games. Maybe only one out of every thirty or forty.
My question is – does anybody know of a software/configuration solution. There is a wicked game called the Suffering that I want to play, but since the pc is an xp now, it won’t run properly…and I do not want to resort to using my integrated video for performance sake.
I could just slap it on another machine, but I would like some insight into this kind of activity.
