General Protection Fault Errors

How do I solve problems like this:
Acrobat caused a general protection fault in the module GDI.exe at 0005:00000061…’. Similar error is when using Excel/Word and any other application.

This normally occurs when I want to print a job. There after the pc just goes berserk.
