generating JPEG preview

I recently installed a program called MGI Photo suite 8.1 to manage photos from a digital camera. Since then, i can’t see the previews in y folders(used to see them) of JPG photos as they seem to be automatically associated to MGi photo suite… Howcan i get the regular JPEG preview beck?
(operating system Windows 98)
