Graphics

by john_mann69 . Updated 24 years, 3 months ago

I have Windows XP Professional on my computer and I have a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX400/400. Every time that I try to push a moderate amount of graphics through my computer (an example being Windows 3D screensaver), my computer locks up and restarts. Blue screen of death with the memory dump and all that. I have kept my drivers up to date from the NVIDIA website. I have 256 MB of SDRAM PC133; I am running a Pentium 3 1GHZ processor. Is there anything I can do or does my video card just suck. I know other people that are having the same problem from there GeForce video cards that aren’t quite so new. Although the windows website says that our video cards are compatible. I also have the NVRefresh tool hoping that it would help but it doesn’t make a difference. What are we doing wrong?
