Green Screen

I have a PCI-e Asus EAH2400Pro video card and when viewing avi files the picture is green and distorted and the sound is sometimes distorted too. I have installed the xvid, divx and gordian knot codecs, but nothing is changing the green screen effect. Any suggestions?

I have checked the Device Manager and there are no conflicts. All drivers are installed for all hardware.
