Group Policies + Management Not Working

I’ve installed Win2K server and AD, then added the PCs ( a win2k pro and Nt PC ) to the domain. Computer appears, but no group policy settings take effect ( NT works through NT config ) and when we try to connect to manage the computer we get ” Can’t connect to \\computername cannot be managed path not found”

Any ideas ?
