Group policy fail on W2k prof in spanish

i have windows 2000 domain controllers in english, recently a created GPO wich hides all icons form desk top, but only the win2k pro in english applies this policy, the win2k prof in spanish doesn?t apply the policy, please help me to resolve this issue.
