H, I, J Drive Mappings in Vista

I have Vista Home Premium box, and I am running software that needs to have drive letter H: mapped to a network folder, but Vista, upon reboot keeps remapping the drive to a ‘removable disk’ that isn’t attached….how do I stop this forced mapping so that I can use drive letters H,I,J for network mappings?
