had to restart the spooler srvc to print

I have a network printer on a w2k pro, after starting windows, users on my network complain that they can’t print their documents. So, I check my printer queues to notice that my printer is out of Paper which is false. I restart my printer spoolerservice and It then let the users print their documents. Does anyone have an idea?
