hanging while shutting down win 95

I took cable internet connection from AT&T six months back.Since then my windows 95 is not shutting down .it’s hanging.this is happening only when I try to shut down after some time . if i shut down immediately ( with in 10-15 minutes)it is shuttingdown properly.Now every time I have to shutdown , iam reseting my PC.Any help is appreciated.
