Hard Drive Issues

I have a computer at my home that started not recognizing the hard drive. The entire computer froze up while I was asleep last night. When I tried to use it this morning and found it was frozen, I restarted and my BIOS gave me the setup menu where it wasn’t recognizing my hard drive. If someone could tell me what exactly I need to do to make my hard drive be recognized I would appreciate it.
