hard drive problem

Is it a possible to recovery data on hard drive? If it recognized by BIOS, Windows Explorer shows directories and files but almost all of files access unavilable. SCANDISK syas disk has bad sector(s) and Norton Doctor cannot help.
If it is possibleexplain what I need to do.
