Hard drive won’t boot

by jltuck81 . Updated 19 years ago

i transferred the hard drive to another computer. I connected the IDE Cable ( black or gray connector) to back of it and plugged the power supply connector to it. it booted, and got past the motherboard logo. then I got blue screen, and an error saying something bout hardware may be corrupt or not cmopatible or something.. the error number were like 0000000 7b or 7x something like that. is it possible it has to do wit bio setting?
