Hdd failure..

by mightyyoungfai . Updated 20 years, 1 month ago

hi,
i need to know why my computer keeps on destroying my hdd? once i attach my new hdd to it, it can be dettected at all. that keeps me puzzle for a very long time.

i have 3 pc, all with the same spec. all running on network conneted to my home server. the problem start when one of the pc hdd fails, i toke the hdd for warranty and got a new one. so i attach the new hdd to one of my working computer and run symantec ghost on it.

after it had finished, i tested both hdd on the computer to see if it is working or not? it works. without any doubt i tranfer the hdd to the computer that without hdd, no mistake on putting back the hdd. but once i try to boot up it cant detect my hdd! checked everything that i could but still fails to detect my hdd, when i try to put another hdd to it, the results is same.

my problem is i cant get both of my hdd to be detected on the two computer? dont know why? i cant risk to test it on my another last computer.
