Headphones not working

Hello, so I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while now and here is my problem, I have a Turtle Beach headset, and when i go into audio settings, it does not show up as a recording device. All it shows is Microphone and Stereo mix. Also, my microphone keeps “auto adjusting” the volume and if i had an explanation for that too. If someone could reply that would be awesome
