HELP!!

The first issue: “windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: windows\system32\config\system

Inserting windows XP disk and hitting auto system recovery causes the follwoing message: please insert windows XP with service pack 2” which I did. All that happened then was the same message keeps recycling.

Trying to repair XP produces the following error: “set up did not find any disk drives installed on your computer”.

The hard drive is partioned and obviously is not all being read. How can I fix this?

Thanks.
