Help please

I am using windows XP Professional addition(upgraded from windows 2000 professional), every time when I logon to windows automatic dialing of internet started, when I canceled it, it again started even after every 30 or 40 seconds it starts autmatically, this is too much problem for me so please any body guide me that how can I disable this feature of auto dialing.
