Hiding last logged in username

In NT you could create an entry called “DontDisplayLastUserName” in the Winlogon key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE so that the username of the last logged in user wasn’t displayed. The Winlogon key is still there and when I create the same entry nothinghappens. Does anyone know how to do it under Win2k?
