At first I thought I was having a problem because Win2K kept blue screening on Thursday, although it worked fine on Friday. Now when I boot my HighPoint controller (on an Abit KX7 board) says “the Raid array needs to be duplicated.”
I can’t find any documentation on this. It sounds bad, like I have a corrupt array. The array, btw, is set up as RAID 0,1. Before I go mucking about, does anyone know what will happen if I proceed? I am hoping it takes the data from the uncorrupt mirror (I’m hoping there is one!) and replaces it. What I don’t know is-will I need a nice big empty hard disk to hold the data while it creates a new array? Is there much chance of losing all the data?
