Home Network

My new house has Cat5 cables and sockets to all main rooms and a bundle of unfinshed wires in the garage. My family have a collection of Windows 95 & 98 PCs (desktops & laptops). I’m thinking of ADSL connection. What kit do I need to simply put it all together? What advise can anybody offer?
