home networking !!

Hi,

I used my company’s laptop at work and we have a coporate NT4.0 domain within the company. The laptop is part of the domain. If I want to take my laptop home and connect to my home pc via a x-over cable, do I have to disjoint the laptop from the domain while I was still at work b4 I can join it to the workgroup at home?

Please advise
