How can I fix W98se install file dates?

I just completed a clean installation of Win98se on a clean HD, but I errored on the setup date. Setup completed and I installed all of my drivers with a 7-26-2026 date instead of 7-26-2001. This error is evident in the Explorer and System Information-History listings.
I would like to fix it before installing OS updates and installation of new programs,
Is there a method to fix the file dates other than re-installing Win98se?
