How can i identify the speed of my DDR RAM?

i need to upgrade my pc’s RAM but i dont know the speed of my installed RAMs. can i put ddr ram of different speeds on one bank? is the RAM’s speed indicated in the RAM itself, i mean, is it on the serial no. on the RAM or something? i really appreciate the help
