How do I license

I need to make some changes in a program I wrote two and a half years ago. The program was written using VB 6 Professional, and uses a DBGrid control and MS Access 97 . The program was written on a machine with the Windows se os.
I now have a machine with the XP Professional os
and when I try to make changes to the program I receive a message stating “Cannot load control DBGrid; License not found. How can I license this control?
