Hello, I installed a new WDC 120GB hard drive in my Acer TravelMate 2301 because the 30 GB OEM hard drive was nearly full. I moved all the data stored on the OEM hard drive to my new hard drive successfully. However, the ACER harddrive partition also was transferred. The OEM hard drive was partitioned into two parts, the first part is 12.5GBs and holds all the operating system software. the rest in in the other half of the partition for temp files and other similar stuff. Now my new hard drive has the first 12.5GB partition on it and I can’t load new Windows updates or updates to my other hardware since this is full. I also have the other 17.5GB partitioned on my new hard drive. Therefore, I need to move both partitions so I can update my existing software and hardware drivers, fixes, etc. Thanks for reading this. Any help will be appreciated. Tom: tfly5331@sbcglobal.net
