How do I repalce a notebook cd rom drive

I have a Toshiba Satellite A10.
It came with a dvd drive and I have purchased a dvd combo burner. How do I remove the old drive?
I’m working on the idea that if I can get it out I should be able to reverse the process to put the replacement in.
Someone said that I need to reuse the old caddy.
The problem is that after taking out every screw on the bottom of the machine, that I could find, the drive still wouldn’t come out…
Any ideas?
I cannot find any info in google regarding it.
I am pretty handy with a screwdriver but this has me stumped at the moment.
