Howto? Find if a remote NT w/s is locked

I’m trying to determine if all our remote NT servers/ workstations that are logged on are locked, and if not, the idle time on that machine. This has to be done in batch, as there are over 100 servers to check! I’d like results on an hourly basis.

For example – An operator leaves the server, but does not lock it or log out. I can find out who is logged on remotely, but as yet cannot determine how long the machine has been idle, or whether it is locked.

Determining if it is locked remotely is of paramount importance from the point of security.

Can anyone help in this matter?

From a security point of view, a machine should be locked immediately it is left unattended.

Setting thescreensaver is not an option – I need to determine unequivocally that a machine is locked or not. Neither is remote control, as I need to know on an hourly basis if the machines are locked.

Thanks in advance.
