How long to upgrade from Win98 to XP Pro

I will be upgrading 5 peer-to-peer networked systems from Win98 to XP Pro.

As I understand it, there are 3 upgrade paths: 1.) Install XP on top of 98; 2.) export files & settings, format drive, install XP, restore files & settings; 3.) InstallXP from scratch.

How much time would each of these options take per system? How much time to then reinstate the network? And finally, how long might it take to configure remote control, remote troubleshooting, VPN or remote networking? I’m trying to determine a fair price to charge for this service.
