“Log initialiszation error” appear during loading of desktop @ window startup. Used Microsoft scan disk to perform “thorough scan” but system hang during the first process. Used Norton Disk Doctor to scan but “Norton Disk doc does not recognize the drive type on disk 2”. Proceed on as Hard disk type is correct,therefore tried to correct error by Norton Disk Doc. “Error on drive D: — Invalid disk table in Boot Record” shown by Norton Disk Doctor @ the “Boot record” process . It later make changes to FAT 32 Drives to correct the problem. At the process of “File Structure” and “Directory Structure”, it “relocate good data from cluster ******* to cluster *******”. Eventurally, it hang @ “Surface Test”. Reboot computer. The data still exist but does not appear on explorer and dos; folders show no files but hard disk indicate space used.Cannot undo on Norton Disk Doc.
How to recover the files? Is there a way to amend the Boot Record?
No virus detected on Norton Anti-Virus.
