How to clone an OS 8.5.1 HD?

What’s the best/fastest/easiest way to “clone” the drive on a mac running 8.5.1?

I have 27 machines to set up in a lab. They are all connected to an AppleShareIP 6.3 server, if that might be of some help to me.

All units have CD-ROM drives, but I have NO mac-compatible CD-burner.
