how to create a custom redhat network bootdisk

hi all,

i have an hp nx6325 notebook and would like to install redhat3 on it. i tryed but faild cos the hard drive is sata. is there a way i can build drivers into the boot up kernel so that the hdd it can be found?
detaild steps required please.
