How to re-activate windows xp proffesional

Hi,

I my hard drive was failure, so I replaced it with a new one dan re-installing the operating system (windows XP Professional), but it’s a failure when I try to activated it. How to re-activate it ? I don’t have to purchase a new winXP, right ?
