How to Remove AD without Demoting DC

My root DC crashed and we rebuild the domain. The downstream DC’s will not demote due to no DSA object found access denied etc. Is there a way of removing the AD manually from the Server to get it to a state of stand alone so that I can promote it again ? Help please anything ?!
