How to share information

I have two computers at home. Earlier I had windows 98. Both computers are connected with network cards and cross over cable. I use to access both the computers. Now I have changed one computer OS to windows 2000 professional. I am not able to see another computer under home work group. Network card are working fine. Please tell me how to solve this proble. In windows 98 I have installed internet sharing service. But still I unable to share internet Connection. How to share internet connection from windows98 to windows 2000 system
