HP Desktop keeps rebooting in 2000

I have a Windows 2000 image that I created that works on multiple hardware platforms. For some reason though, on our HP VL6 Series 8 desktops, after I load the image, the computer just keeps rebooting after it goes through the “Starting Windows” screen. If I install Windows 2000 from scratch on this hardware model it works fine. We are using Sysprep 1.1 on our image which enables us to specify different mass storage controllers depending on hardware. This allows us to have one image that works on different types of hardware. However, the HP has the same controller as our other hardware models that are listed in the Sysprep.inf file. Has anyone ever run into this type of situation? Any help would be appreciated.
