hp pavilion dv1410 display problems

I am working on an pavilion dv1410us. It would start up with no display. After a few tries it would come up and then intermittenly drop all video display. I found damage to the hard drive and replaced it. Then laptop then came up properly. In short order it started losing display video. Now I have no video with the laptop screen or an external displace. HELP PLEASE!!!
