HP PhotoSmart 1000

We have an HP Photosmart 1000 installed as a local printer on a users machine.(Windows 2000 with default win2k permissions) He cannot print, the Admin can print and anyone who belongs to the admin group. I installed the network drivers, that didnt work either. Called HP, they didnt have anything to say helpful. Any ideas on how to get this printer working for the user?
