HP PSC 2210 PROBLEM

My printer all of a sudden has stopped responding properly to any command. I tried copying a document and it took around 30 minutes to copy it, which was printed at a very poor quality. Its as if the printer has gone into a slow motion function. Even when i try to print, it takes about 5 minutes just to feed the page.

What could be the problem?
