HTTP file transfer

I have links on a web page to files on a public FTP site that don’t work. The public files are available with an FTP client with no problem, but links to them don’t. The error is “The page cannot be displayed”.

I can use a browser to navigate thepublic FTP site but when I double-click on a file I do not get the “Run or Save As” dialog box. If I right-click I can Copy the file with no problem.

The web/FTP server is IIS 5.0 on W2K.

Any ideas?
