HUB LOOSE COMPUTER

on a network the electricity shot down all the computer and server.
my question is after the electricity come back why the hub not reconise the 5 computer juste 3.i need to disconnect power on the hub and reconnec and is ok.is normal
is puredata hub 8port.thank you
