Hubless 10BaseT Network Cable

My Win98 book, which is usually so helpful, says:

“Remember, a hubless 10Base-T Network requires a special cable, or else the computers won’t recognize each other.”

What it doesn’t say is just what *kind* of special cable they require. Anyoneknow?

I’m simply trying to connect two Win98se computers together so they can share big graphics files, and DCC is too slow.
