Huge Windows2k problem

Yesterday I was using the Services menu to prevent some programs from starting up and eating all my resources. I must have disabled a critical program because whenever I start windows, it takes forever to get the desktop. I am also unable to use media player. I get a message saying that I am out of memory even though I have 384 MB worth of RAM. When I go back into the services menu, I can’t re-enable the programs that I disabled. I try to get to the properties box, but it never comes up. I alsobooted into safe mode and tried to re-enable the services from there, but it didn’t work either. I also tried using the Last Known Good Configuration procedure and that didn’t work. If anyone can help, it would be extremely appreciated.
