I/O Conflict

I have a 98 machine which when upon booting stops and says it has an “I/O conflict 2F8 and I need to hit F1 to continue. I have checked the resources and cannot readily see which device is causing the conflict. Is there an easy way to locate which device is causing the problem? I have just reformatted the hard drive (to remove AOl and correct and Internet Explorer problem) so the OS (98SE) and drivers were just reinstalled. Sound Blaster 128, ATI Fury video driver were the only drivers installed at this point and I have checked them specifically but to no avail. Any suggestions?
