I want to Unshare my c$ d$ drives

I want to Unshare my c$ d$ drive. I want to secure my harddisk Data privacy. I tried different registry solutions which were suggested to me in my previous same qs but it does not work. I have NT4.0 member server. i unshare my drives manually and after restart they r shared again automatically. local policy editor does not implement it. please help……….
