I want to update to Windows 98 from 95.

I bought an older (Pentium) computer and want to update to Windows 98.
I am having trouble installing Windows 98 over Windows 95. It isn’t an updated version but a full version.
I am not that well versed in computers and will need some simple instructions. Thanks, Floyd
