IBM Thinkpad BIOS

Hi Everyone,

I have run into any tech support person’s workst nightmare, the user with SOME knowledge.

One of my users borrowed an older Thinkpad 380Z to work from home during maternity leave and her oldest son decided to play with it and has entered a startup BIOS password and has forgotten what it is.

Does anyone happen to know a way around this, besides taking it to be serviced.
I cannot even access the BIOS without this password right now.
