I have a home network of 3 pcs. All network works fine. Very stable. Read and write to all 3 pcs. Share printers and cd drives with no problems. Internet connection sharing (ICS)is installed on one machine. Problems start if I try to access internetfrom one of the other PCs (ie not the ICS pc). I am able to connect to the internet, download, and view web pages etc but Eventually (after about 5 – 10 mins) the sharing pc will hang / crash. Accessing the internet direct from the sharing pc is nota problem. Whatever happens to the sharing pc the other 2 pc’s remain on the network and continue to communicate with each other without problem. The ICS machine connection is lost. The ICS machine connects to the internet via a cable modem connected to the usb. The usb uses the same IRQ as the network card. Although Windows device manager does not show any conflict, do you think that this might be the root of the problem? If so, how do I change it safely. Or could it be another problem.
Would be good to hear from anyone who could help or direct me to where I could find it.

Apologies for removing this question earlier today. Thought that had resovled with TCPIP addressing changes. False alarm. ICS looks like its set up fine. But network connection still falls over as described.
